Our Swim Instructors

Yes, all of our instructors are certified, experienced, and fully vetted to ensure the highest quality of swim instruction. Each instructor carries a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification AND the Water Safety Instructor Certification.
Our instructors have diverse backgrounds that may include competitive experience past or present. The commonality is a passion for helping others reach swim goals! You can review detailed profiles before booking. We ensure all instructors meet our rigorous standards.
We want your child to feel comfortable. If the instructor isn’t a good fit, let us know and we can arrange for a different instructor for future lessons.
Currently, we don’t offer meet-and-greet sessions, but you can view detailed bios and certifications of each instructor before booking.

Lesson Information

Every learner develops skills uniquely timed. Typically we encourage booking with an instructor for an inital (4) pack of lessons to assess compatibility and rate of progression.
We offer lessons for children of all ages, starting as early as 6 months The right age depends on your child’s comfort in the water.
That's fine! Our instructors can teach up to 3 children in the water at once. We recommend booking enough time to allow for each child to have at least a half hour of instruction.
Every child is different. Progress depends on factors like age, experience, and comfort level in the water. Regular lessons and practice will speed up the learning process.
If weather conditions force a cancellation AFTER the provider has arrived on site for booking, the lesson will be conducted as a ‘dry land’ lesson. Providers are prepared to educate and engage participants in a weather protected environment you provide. Should this unlikely situation occur more than twice, you may receive a credit applied to your account by contacting us!
Lessons will be canceled in the event of thunder, lightning, and torrential downpours where the bottom of the pool is not visible, or for other extreme events (smoke, tornado, etc). Light rain or chilly temperatures do NOT warrant a cancellation. We recommend a neoprene wetsuit for early season lessons when the air temperature may still be brisk. In the event you choose to cancel due to weather we classify as teachable, that lesson will be forfeited. The decision to cancel is made by the provider and you can expect communication from the provider to convey cancellation.

We recommend booking as soon as you see an available slot that works for your schedule. Our system lets you book instantly without waiting or callbacks.
Yes! You can have multiple students in the same lesson. For example, we charge a flat rate of $150 per hour for up to 3 participants in the water at a time. If you organize 2 back-to-back 30-minute sessions with 3 kids each, the cost breaks down to just $25 per child. It’s a great value, especially for siblings, family, or friends.
Currently, we do not offer the option to split payments. But you can book a session and invite your friends or family to share the cost, and everyone saves!
We offer a flexible cancellation policy. You can cancel up to 24 hours before your lesson for any reason, and you’ll receive a credit to reschedule at your convenience.
Lessons may be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance of scheduled booking. Log in to your account, go to your booking, and select a new available time. The credit from the canceled lesson will apply to the new booking.
You can purchase multiple lessons as a package. Once booked, you can schedule your remaining lessons immediately or at a later time, choosing dates that suit your schedule.
Log in to your account and select the dates and times for your remaining lessons. You can also book them as recurring appointments for convenience.
